Wessex Racing Rallycross Team

Wessex Racing will run a two car team again in the MSA British Rallycross championship in 2012.  Bruce bamber is the team leader and will be driving his 300 BHP Supernational rear wheel drive Honda Civic EK and will be joined by Toby Crocker stepping up to the Supernational category in his all new Wessex Racing prepared 2.2litre supercharged Honda S2000.

2009 was a successful season for the team with Bruce Bamber winning the BTRDA Supermodified class and narrowly missing overall victory in the BTRDA Championship, by 1 point,  and Toby Crocker claiming victory in both the BRDA and BTRDA Stock Hatch 16 valve classes together with victory in the Rallycross Open Championship Division 1A class.

We took a year out of competition to build and develop the RWD Honda Civic but have only raced a couple of times in 2011 continuing the development whilst the new S2000 has taken a full two seasons to build. We are looking forward to running a full season in 2012.
